About Me:
Laurie holds a degree in Therapeutic Recreation as well as being a certified personal trainer. She is an avid 5 and 10k runner and has competed at the Friehofer's Run for Women for 26 consecutive years and the Race for the Cure for 19 years along with the completion of four 3 day- 60 mile walks for breast cancer and four 26.2 mile walks for the American Cancer Society. Laurie is also part of the mentoring program for the Freihofer Run for Women Training Challenge.

Laurie is a master rower and coxswain with the Saratoga Rowing Association and engages in winter exercises such as ice skating, cross country skiing and snow shoeing.

Laurie specializes in group exercise, Bootcamps as well as 1:1 training. She believes each person is unique and works with her clients to tailor their exercise program to meet their needs.

About Me:
I am a Certified Personal Trainer (AFFA) and Certified Nutrition Coach (Pn) who specializes in working with the morbidly obese. With over 30 years of experience I have helped thousands of folks to not just lose weight but keep it off.

I am also former “fatty” who weighed in excess of 350 pounds. About 10 years ago I lost over 100 pounds and have kept it off. I understand the trials and tribulations with trying to lose weight and keeping it off. I also know there is no magic pill, shake or formula that will make you lose weight.

My philosophy is to help my clients get fit through proper diet and exercise. I also believe that exercising should be fun and strive to have everyone leave my sessions with a smile on their face. I want people to think of the hour with me as the best part of their day.

In addition to being a personal trainer I am also a competitive athlete competing across the county in rowing (crew) with the Saratoga Rowing Association. I also am a volunteer mentor/trainer for the Freihofer’s Run for Women Training Challenge as well as a member of the Saratoga Chamber of Commerce’s Health and Wellness Council.

    About Me:
    Liz brings her passion and background of yoga, dance, fitness, and holistic bodywork into her classes.
     She has been practicing yoga since 2001 and teaching since 2006. Through her practice and fitness training, she believes the more we connect with and listen to our bodies, the more access we have toward change in our lives.

    She completed the 500 hour teacher training program at the Iyengar Yoga Institute of San Francisco and has had the honor of studying and training with many teachers of different styles and backgrounds in yoga and the healing arts.

    She also loves chocolate and spending time with her family and cats.

    She is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, AFAA Certified Group Fitness Instructor and NASM Certified Personal Trainer. (A.K.A. Form Freak)
